It is believed that many cold rolled steel producers have encountered slower production of cold rolling mills. The slow speed of the rolling mill directly affects the economic benefits of the company. I once had a customer who bought 10 sets of rolls and I have reflected this problem with me, so I asked for our help.
After we asked the customer about several details of the mill's use and asked the customer to send us a video of the mill operation, we found that the customer's cold water shaft leaked, which caused the coolant to directly contact the roll, making it operate at high speed and high temperature. The lower roll suddenly comes into contact with the cooling water, causing the roll to rupture. So we sent a few cold water shafts to the customer, and later the customer reported that the rolling mill speed was very stable.
In fact, in addition to the problem of leaking cold water shafts encountered by my customers, there are other factors that affect the speed of the mill. Let's take a look at Jessica to see if your mill has encountered the following problems.
1. The slower production speed of the cold rolling mill is most likely due to the friction between the cold rolling mill and the work rolls. Therefore, we usually advise our customers to apply a layer to the rolling mill and rolls every month. lubricating oil. In this way, the friction is reduced and the production speed of the rolling mill is naturally raised.
2. The slow speed of the cold rolling mill is related to itself. Under normal circumstances, it is likely that a large number of roll necks appear inside the bearing of the rolling mill, which is likely to cause movement problems of the rolls. Roller bearing work load is heavy and varies greatly, so the bearing friction coefficient is required to be small, has sufficient strength and rigidity, and it is convenient to replace the roll. For different equipment, the corresponding roll bearing should be used. Generally, the rolling bearing has a large rigidity and a small friction coefficient. The disadvantage is that the pressure that can be withstood is low, and the outer shape is relatively large, which is common in the work rolls of the strip mill.
The above is a small trick to improve the production speed of cold rolling mills, and I hope to have some help for cold rolled steel bar manufacturers. If you have any problems with the use of rolling mill rolls, you can contact Jessica!
