Tag:China Cemented Carbide Industry
According to the "China Cemented Carbide Industry Research and Investment Prospect Report (2019 Edition)" released by Shenzhen Limu Information Consulting, the cemented carbide industry is a mature market worldwide, with major manufacturers distributed in China, the United States, Europe, Japan, etc. Country and region. In recent years, industry competition has been fierce, and global cemented carbide production has grown steadily. It is estimated that global cemented carbide production in 2015 will be about 70,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 2%. China is the world's largest producer of hard alloys, with cemented carbide production accounting for about 38% of global production.
From 2000 to 2007, China's cemented carbide production increased steadily year by year, from 8,189 tons per year in 2000 to 16,500 tons per year in 2007, with an annual compound growth rate of 10.53%; from 2007 to 2009, affected by the global economic crisis, China's cemented carbide production maintained a steady state, with an annual output of around 16,500 tons; from 2010 China's cemented carbide industry began to gradually recover, from 2010 to 2018, the industry showed a volatility, with an average annual compound growth rate of 7.25%, 2018 China's cemented carbide production was 38,500 tons, an increase of 11.59%.
Since 2005, except for the year-on-year decline in output and export volume in a few years, China's cemented carbide production and export volume have shown a steady growth trend. During the period of 2009-2018, China's exports of cemented carbide products showed a rapid growth trend. The export volume of alloys increased from 3,347 tons in 2009 to 9,246.45 tons in 2018, with an average compound annual growth rate of 11.95%.
In 2018, the top ten enterprises in China's cemented carbide industry output accounted for 60.84% of the country's total cemented carbide production, and the industry concentration is high. However, the industry has not yet established a perfect mechanism for the survival of the fittest and the unfair competition mechanism. The blind development of hard alloy enterprises and the low-level redundant construction of low- and medium-end hard products still exist in large numbers, affecting the technological progress of the industry and weakening the high-end and high added value. The product development capability will further increase the concentration of high-end, high value-added cemented carbide products in the future.
